My lemon trees

Hello,
I'm going to talk something about my gardening at this time.
I've had a pot of lemon tree for over one decade. It has given me only one lemon during such a long time.
However, I usually have some caterpillars in this season every year on
it. Last year, I got the first lemon ever, but not this year. Instead of it, I've got more than 20 caterpillars all at once!
OMG!! I don't think all of them could survive, because the tree is not
big enough to feed every caterpillar.
I call those caterpillars "my pet", because I love watching or observing what they do and how they grow. I even shoot some pictures and
videos when they are eating or moving.
As you can imagine, I have 2 opposite desires.
I want to have some lemons, but at the same time, I want to raise
caterpillars and see them flying away as butterflies.
They eat actually a lot of leaves that the tree loses its important parts
as a tree.
So, sometimes I wonder if I'm taking care of such bugs or
treating a tree. Then I have to say "both". LOL!!
In this year, I'm also trying to grow some paprikas, watermelons and
strawberries from scratch. I mean, I ate some pieces of watermelon
last year, and I'd kept the seeds for a year, and seeded them this
spring. Also, I've eaten a red paprika and some strawberries recently,
and just seeded their seeds directly as soon as I ate. Many sprouts
have been growing already!
In fact, I don't think I could get any watermelons, because I don't
have actual garden. However, I'm looking forward to see my paprikas
in this summer and strawberries in the next spring.

Did you seed something in this spring?
As an addition, I seeded seeds from a lemon that I bought at a
supermarket directly as soon as I ate it last year. Now, I have 2 other
pots of very small lemon trees, too.
I'm looking forward to see them growing, but I don't know how long I would have to patiently wait for getting fruit from those trees.
I don't even know if I could get any....LOL!!
